After more than 40 years practicing Psychiatry-Psychoanalysis and teaching on the clinical faculty at U.C.L.A. School of Medicine, Dr. Larry Ryan retired here in the desert with his husband this past year. As a life long activist, he was compelled to take time from his busy tennis schedule to take on the challenge of a new medical field and volunteer to help fight against the Sexually Transmitted Infection epidemic here in Coachella Valley.
